Eyelash and Mascara tips and tricks
There are so many different types of mascara on the market now. There are mascaras for lengthening, thickening, curling etc. Which one is right for you? If you want a natural look a mascara that will just coat the lashes will be best for you. If you are wanting to bring attention to the eyes a thickening one or lengthening can be a good choice. Curling your lashes before the application of mascara is such a simple trick to help give you a wider eye look. I really like the Shu Uemura Lash Curler it just works. Put the eyelash curler as close to the base of the lashes as you can get. Squeeze tightly for a few seconds, release then walk the curler out along the length of the lashes, squeezing as you go. If you apply your mascara at the base of the lash root this will help lift the lashes and will give the illusion of a more open eye. I strongly recommend that my clients use a good eye lash comb that separates the lashes.
If you want a softer look for the day choose a brown mascara or even a nice navy or burgundy mascara. I love using individual lashes or a full strip to create various looks. Always curl the lashes before application of false lashes. I always apply a soft application of mascara before application of the lashes and finish with another application of mascara.
My favorite mascara for my own personal use is the DIOR SHOW by Christian Dior. I have tried numerous mascaras but always go back to this beautiful formula.
